Have a list of Keywords: these are words that people may use to find your site.
Write a description of your site; its purpose, why the site is there or what you offer.
Have an text for an About Page, Mission Statement or both prepared.
Construct a basic "road map" of where you want the site to take viewers.
Make a list of other sites of a similar nature and note what you like or dislike about them.
Submit all text in electronic form: Word, Note Pad, or PDF formats are best.
Submit graphics and photo in their natural format. TIF, or uncompressed JPGs are best. If you take photos, send them just as you took the photo. Do not put graphics or photos into a Word or similar document because when them are extracted they lose a lot of quality.
Good communication between you and the website designer is essential. Get involved! After all, it is your site.
Remember: Constantly re-doing and making unnecessary changes is time consuming, costly, and frustrating for everyone.
